I wouldn’t normally jump right into this but I’m pretty sure that’s what you’re here for.

I graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy from St. Edward's University in 2009 and lit off for greener pastures. After roaming the world for a year, I reemerged in Austin with a position at McGarrah Jessee. My entry-level work turned into a passion for social media and stints at several start-ups, including Main Street Hub and Spredfast.

I took a senior title at the B2B marketing firm GPO, and after a short time there, I wanted to gain more experience and work with a consumer-driven, product-focused brand. I was lucky to find a great fit in the outdoor company YETI. They fed my love for holistic creative and provided more beef jerky than one woman could consume in a lifetime. After a relocation to Houston, TX, I found a new home with energy giant NRG and took on a new role as the Creative Services Manager of the B2B and Corporate creative team.

I hang my hat on just two creative tenants:

  • Make work that hits you somewhere —be it head, heart, or gut

  • Find opportunities to learn; you're never going to be hurt by learning something new

Everything else tends to fall into place.
